Who are we?
LDC Long Distance Inc. is an authorized broker of many telecommunications companies whose services are listed on our site. We have been providing long-distance brokerage services for United States market since 1998, and Canada since 2000.

What is the rate to my country?
All rates can be found using our best rate finder. From home page select a country of your interest and click "Go!" to view a list of all rates in increasing order.

How can I order?
You can order the service via phone, email or fax. More details on our order now! page.

Is there a special calling period?
There are NO peak or off-peak periods to worry about. With us, enjoy the same flat rates, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Best of all, these are NOT promotional rates.

Will I get charged for calls that did not go through?
You will not be charged for calls that are not completed (i.e. "busy" or "no answer"). You will, however, be charged for calls routed to a voice mail system or answering machine.

Is there a fee for this service?
Some fees do apply. Check plan details for exact charges.

Are there any hidden charges?
No. There is no connection charge and all minutes are billed at the same rate.

Do I get a bill?
Yes. A long distance company that supplies your service will send a detailed bill to your home or business address on a monthly basis. Some companies select Internet billing option, which means you can still view your bill online.

Do I have to switch my long distance company?
1+ long-distance plans require switching. Dial around plans don't.

How will I know when I have been successfully switched?
At the time we finalize your application, we will tell you who your carrier is and which network you will use to make your long distance calls. After 4-5 business days, please dial 1-700-555-4141 from the phone that you subscribed with us. This is a TOLL-FREE TEST number used by many long distance carriers. By dialing this number now you will receive an automated massage telling you the name of your existing carrier. If you call back in 5 days and the greeting tells you that your long-distance company is the one you requested you are safe to make long-distance calls. It means you have been switched.

Which plan is better for me?
Each of our customers has specific needs. Based on the countries you call you should pick the plan that best fits your budget.

How do I dial overseas?
1+ long-distance plans: 011 + country + city + number
Global Direct plan (GAD): 1-800-...-.... + country + city + number

How do I dial within US and Canada?
1+ long-distance plans: 1 + area code + number
Global Direct plan (GAD): 1-800-...-.... + 1 + area code + number

Is registration necessary?
POSITIVELY YES FOR ALL OF OUR PLANS. It is very important that customers register. This is the only way to ensure that you will receive a plan you want and that a company you choose will charge you rates that we advertise. Why wait? Register with us today!

Is this service offered in Canada and other countries?
Even though we specialize in North American market, namely United States and Canada, we also provide long distance services to other countries. If you live in the US please visit our United States portal.

Is this a callback service?
1+ and dial around plans are not callback.

What area codes are 1-877 and 1-888 and do I pay for them?
1-877 and 1-888 work like traditional toll-free 1-800 numbers. So, you can call us or send us a fax free of long-distance charges.

How do I dial 1-877-JEFTINO?
All phones have letters above numbers. For example number 5 has 3 letters above it J, K and L. To dial a "J" press the "5" key. By dialing the letters you will actually dial 1-877-533-8466, which is our telephone number.

What do I do if I want to sign up additional lines or if I want to change my name, address, telephone number or local telephone company?
Please call us! Not only will we ensure that your local company doesn't switch you to a plan you didn't request (which usually costs more), but we will keep the up-to-date info of your account. Therefore, we strongly recommend you to call us and let us know of any change in your address, telephone numbers and local telephone companies.
